The Music festival "Denis Matsuev meets friends’" - is a joint project of the famous Russian pianist Denis Matsuev and conductor Alexander Sladkovskiy. Musicians have been friends for many years. Through their creative collaboration a variety of bright cultural events in Russia have been held, which were aimed to develop musical culture of the regions of their native country.
Evolution of music through the prism of views of its most striking members, performance of the most iconic musical works, introduction to the heritage of national and world musical thought – are the primary objectives, pursued by the new festival.
