III INTERNATIONAL RAKHLIN SEASONS FESTIVAL

International Rakhlin Seasons Festival is dedicated to the former Music Director and Principal Conductor of the Orchestra – Nathan Rakhlin. The programme of the Festival combines European and Russian classical music, the two musical trends that were very particularly important for N. Rakhlin. The Orchestra held several concerts dedicated to Maestro Rakhlin.
The new history of the Orchestra marked a new epoch of this musical forum. The Festival is held in April. First time renewed Rakhlin Seasons were held from 9th to 11th of April, 2011 and represented by Requiem of Mozart (with Albina Shagimuratova, Alina Shakirova, Dmitry Pyanov, Otar Kunchulia as soloists), theDvorzak cello quartet (with Sergey Roldugin as a soloist).
II Festival (which was held from the 4th to 11th April, 2012) was opened by with theViolin concerto of Sibelius (with Alyona Baeva as a soloist), Manfred of Tchaikovsky (with Maestro Tao Lynn from China), Carmina Burana of Orff, Requiem of Verdi (with Tatyana Serzhan, Olga Borodina, Piero Pretti, Ildar Abdrazakov, combined choir of the Yurlov Russian State Academic Choir and the Kazan Conservatory).
In 2013, the Festival will host such guests as Sumi Jo, Alexander Knyazev, Alexander Vakulsky, Yurlov Russian State Academic Choir.
