(BORN 1957)
a Russian conductor. State Prize of the Russian Federation (1995, as one of the Alfred Schnittke Festival participant). He chief-conducted the Mikhailovsky Theatre, Nizhny Novgorod Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra (1989 – 2000), the Moscow Symphony Orchestra (2000 – 2009), the South Jutland Symphony Orchestra (2006 – 2010). Vladimir Ziva has been Chief Conductor of the Krasnodar State Musical Theatre since 2004.
