Honoured Artist of Russia, People’s Artist of Tatarstan. The Order of Kurmet (Kazakhstan) Award. He was Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the State Symphony Orchestra of the Tatar SSR from 1979 to 1985, Chief Conductor of the Mussa Jalil Tatar Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre from September, 2003.
