(1908 - 1972)
Soviet conductor, professor. People’s Artist of the Karelia ASSR, Honoured Artist of RSFSR. Conductor of the Leningrad Maliy Opera and Ballet Theatre. Between 1951 – 1955 and 1961 – 1968, he was Chief Conductor of the Mussa Jalil Tatar Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.
