The “Isle of the Dead” by Serge Rachmaninoff and “Manfred” Symphony by Pyotr Tchaikovsky are included into the new album which is released by Sony Music Entertainment and RCA Red Seal Records. The Tatarstan National Symphony Orchestra (TNSO) under their Artistic Leader and Chief Conductor Alexander Sladkovsky made the recording in their native city of Kazan (Capital of the Republic of Tatarstan).
Both pieces are so complicated in both technical performance and philosophical idea, that only a few orchestras and conductors in the world would ever dare to combine them in the same concert, let alone recording.
The new album was released in a number of 3000 copies.
