The four concerts we have performed thi sseason were really sophisticated and high-level so the performers are growing more confident about what they are doing. Themusicians are really zealous about every chord and bar and this is the criterion I judge an orchestra by. And people starting to make that kind of choice means orchestral music is in steady demand for quality music now and that’s what theorchestra will keep focusing on.
