Ruben Agaronyan
He graduated from the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory as chorus conductor in 1991, and the Postgraduate course as chorus conductor in 1994.
In 2004 R. Agaronyan graduated from the N. Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg State Conservatory as opera and symphony conductor.
During his studies, he worked at the St. Petersburg Conservatory theatre.
In the years from 2004 to 2006 he worked as conductor at the Samara Academic Opera and Ballet theatre, and in the years of 2006 and 2007 he worked at the Saratov Schnittke Philharmonic, and in the Magnitogorsk Opera and Ballet Theatre from 2007 and 2009.
He was Principal Conductor at the Sapaev Mari State Opera and Ballet Theatre.
R. Agaronyan was a stage director of the following productions:
The Tsvetik-semitsvetik ballet by E. Krylatova (2009);
Ball im Savoy operetta by P. Abrakham, The Sleeping Beautyballet by P. Tchaikovsky, The Queen of Spades opera by P. Tchaikovsky (2010);
Timur and his Team, or Heroes of Our Times by V. Agafonnikov (2011);
Viva la Mamma! Opera by G. Donizetti and Boris Godunov opera by M. Musorgsky (2012).
He also conducted the La Bayadere ( or The Temple Dancer) by L. Minkus,Giselle by A. Adana, Romeo and Julietby S. Prokofiev, The Nutcracker by P. Tchaikovsky, and Yevgeniy Onegin by P. Tchaikovsky, May Night by N. Rimsky-Korsakov, Rigoletto by G. Verdi, La Traviata by G. Verdi, The Tsar’s Bride by N. Rimsky-Korsakov.
