Chamber Choir of the Republic of Tatarstan is a group of talented young people with a big creative potential. The Choir is frequently enrolled in several cultural events.
The repertoire includes such works as Mozart’s Requiem, Rachmaninoff’s The Bells (with the Mariinsky Theatre Choir under V. Gergiev – the X Easter Festival), Fuare’s Requiem, Orff’s Carmina Burana, Timerbulatov’s Symphony No 2 (with the Tatarstan National Symphony Orchestra under Alexander Sladkovsky), Donizetti’s Il campanello (featuring Venera Gimadieva, Alexey Tikhomirov, Konstantin Brzinsky), Rimsky-Korsakov’s The Snow Maiden, etc.
The Choir participated in such festivals as
The Neva Choir Assemblies (Saint Petersburg), the X, XI Easter Festivals (Moscow), Creation of Peace Festival, the Kremlin-Life, the International Shalyapin Opera Festival, the International Festival of Muslim Cinema Golden Minbar, the International Music of Faith Festival, etc.
The repertoire of the Choir ranges from classical and romantic style (operas, cantatas, requiems, oratories, a capella music) to folk songs (the Kuban, Tatar, Nagaybaksk, etc) and jazz compositions, as well as some stylistically new mixed music in such modern projects, as Jive Production, DJ ART, with Radik Salimov.
