More than 3 million rubles collected for construction of children hospice
A charity concert of the State Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Tatarstan was held in the Salih Saydashev Grand Concert Hall.It’s already the fourth charity concert of Tatarstan National Symphony orchestra and Maestro Sladkovsky. But this time it was an unusual concert.

"The Nutcracker", based on E.T.A.Hoffmann story and libretto by Marius Petipa.Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, along with Kamalov Theater actress Nafisa Khairullina, read the symphonic fairy tale. The participation of officials is a usual thing for the world, but for Russia is a rare thing. So IlsurMetshin readily accepted the offer of Artistic director and principal conductor of TNSO Alexander Sladkovsky. He even took several lessons of art word.
-“It’s not pathos, it’s our daily work. We have already given charity concerts with participation of such famous people as Chulpan Khamatova and Lilia Gildeeva. I want to thank the Mayor who participates as an actor, it gives to the event the special status”, said before the concert Alexander Sladkovsky.
-“We’ve chosen Saturday for the concert that starts at 5 p.m.. After this time my working day is finished and I can take part in this event. To participate in charity in different forms is a normal world tendency”, commented his decision to participate in the concert Ilsur Metshin. He says that he is more worried than even when he makes speech in the Duma.
However, externally the Mayor looked calm and confident.

Before the concert the hall was overcrowded. People donated money and put it in a special box.
One of the worker of the Fond by AnzhelaVavilova said “70 million rubles left to collect, we will certainly build the hospice!”
The charity concert was sold out. There was no empty place. The tickets from 50 to 5000 rubles were sold.
The fairy-tale by Hoffmann is one of the kindest and wisest in the world literature. IlsurMetshin and NafisaKhairullina read it from the heart and the soul. Also the young dancers took part in the concert. They performed pas from the ballet Nutcracker. Itwasveryaffecting.
Time has flown by. Alexander Sladkovsky said to the auditorium that they have begun such charity activity and they will continue it in the future.
IlsurMetshin thanked all people who went to the concert, the orchestra and Nafisa Khairullina. Then he gave the certificate to the chairman of the fond Vladimir Vavilov who bereaved his daughter. The charity concert collected 3 million 465 thousand rubles.
