Igor Krutoy (was born the 29th of July, 1954, Ukraine) is a composer and chansonnier, People’s artist of Russia (1996), People’s artist of Ukraine (2011), honoured man of art of Russian Federation (1992), the owner of producing company «АRS».
Igor Krutoy is one of the most popular, highly sought composers in Russia. He is the author of more than 300 songs. The primary stars of Russian pop stage many years perform the hit songs of Krutoy - А.Pugacheva, I.Allegrova, K.Orbakayte, V.Leontiev, А.Buinov, N.Baskov, Alsu, M.Shufutinsky, A.Serov, L.Vaykule, V.Presnyakov and many others. The compositions, written by Igor Krutoy are known for their melodism, sincerity and deepness. They sound at every radio station of Russia, neighbouring countries and beyond. Igor Krutoy is the author of music to popular films and TV series such as «Victims of devil», «Souvenir for procurator», «Yearn of passion», «Related exchange». Musical achievements of Igor Krutoy are well known not only in Russia, but all over the World. Since 1994 “Evening with Igor Krutoy” have successfully been held.Russian pop stars take part in it. Such concerts took place in USA – on the stage of «Madison Square Garden» (New York, 16 000 spectators), in the hall of casino « Taj Mahal » in Atlantic City (6 000 spectators), «Radio-City Music Hall» in New York, « Shrine Auditorium » and «Kodak Theater» in LA, in Kazakstan – in the Palace of Republic, at the most prestigious concert venues of Israel, Germany, Ukraine and other countries.
