Boris Andrianov is one of the top-level Russian musicians of his generation. He is the mastermind and project leader “The generation of stars”, in terms of which the concerts of young talented musicians are being held in different cities and regions of Russia.
In 2008 in Moscow Russia’s first ever cello festival took place, Boris Andrianov worked as an art director of this festival. In March, 2010 2-nd festival passed,and in Autumn 2011the third festival "VIVACELLO", in which such eminent musicians took part: Natalia Gutman, Yuri Bashmet, Misha Maysky, David Geringas, Steven Isserlis, Alexandr Rudin, Julian Rachlin, Sergei Nakaryakov and many others.
At the age of 16 he became the laureate of the first International youthful contes named after P.I.Tchaikovsky, a year later he won the first and grand prize at the contest in RSA. In May Boris Andrianov with the pianist Alexei Goribol became the laureate of the First International contest named after D.D. Shostakovich "Classica Nova" (Hannover, Germany). At the VIth International contest of cello players named after M.Rostropovich in Paris (1997) Boris Andrianov became the first representative of Russia, who got the title of laureate throughout history of the contest. Participating in 2000 at the International contest named after Antonio Janigro in Zagreb (Croatia), where Boris was awarded with the 1st prize ad got special prizes, the cello player acknowledged his high reputation, that was formed after the XI International contest named after P.I.Tchaikovsky (1998), where he won the IIIrd prize and bronze medal. In 2003 Boris Andrianov became the laureate of the 1-st International contest named after Isang Yun (Korea).
Boris Andrianov has a vast concert repertory, he performs with symphony and chamber orchestras, among them are:orchestra of the Mariinsky theatre, Russian national orchestra, Academic symphony orchestra of Moscow Philharmonia, Big symphony orchestra named after P.I.Tchaikovsky, The State chamber orchestra of jazz music named after O. Lundstrem, National orchestra of France, philharmonic orchestras of Slovenia and Croatia, chamber orchestras of Berlin, Vienna, Zagreb, Poland and Lithuania, Bonn orchestra named after Beethoven, the orchestra of Padua.
He also played with such famous conductors as Valery Gergiev, Vladimir Fedoseev, Mark Gorenshtein, Pavel Kogan, Alexander Vedernikov, David Geringas, Roman Kofman and others. The cello player with the famous Polish composer and conductor Krzystoff Penderecki continually performed his Concerto Grosso for 3 cellos and the orchestra. Boris performs a lot of chamber music, playing with the groups of such musicians as Yuri Bashmet, Menahem Pressler, Akiko Suvanai, Janine Jansen, Julian Rachlin.
