Born in Moscow in 1981. She attended the Bolshoi Theatre choir, graduated from the Moscow Conservatory in 2005 (class of Maslennikova),and in 2009, she finished her post-graduate studies in 2009.
In 2002, she Grand prize at the All Russia Bella Voce Competition. In 2007, she won the Renaissance Music Festival and was awarded Shostakovich Foundation scholarship. She debuted at the Bolshoi Theatre in 2008 as Papageno (Die Zauberflote by Mozart).
Daya's repertoire at the Bolshoi Theatre include Papageno (Die Zauberflote), Mercedes (Carmen), Brigitta (Iolanta by Tchiakovsky), Adele (Die Fledermaus / The bat), The Golden Cockerel's Voice (the Golden Cockerel), Masha (the Queen of Spades), Marianne (Der Rosenkavalier).
She performed in Austria, Germany, Italy, Spain, Japan, Corea.
In 2005, she won the right to give recitals in the USA (Indiana, Indiannapolis).
She took part in several music festival, including Ars Longa (2005, 2007), Primavera classica (2005, 2007, 2008).
She participated in Rossini's Tancredi (2005), The Roman Liturgy by Pergolesi (2006) at the Moscow Concervatory Great Hall.
In 2007, Darya performed the leading role in The Snow Maiden at the Litva National Philharmony staged by the Moscow Conservatory Opera Theatre.
