Yukine Kuroki started playing the piano at the age of three. She won Grand-Prix at International Balys Dvarionas Competition for Young Pianists and Violinists in Lithuania (2012), Gold Prize at Asia International Piano Academy & Competition in Korea (2010) and the First Prize and Chopin Player Prize at the First International Piano Competition in Hanoi, Vietnam (2010). She has received many awards including Polonaise Prize at Chopin International Piano Competition for Young Pianists held in China (2011), IMA Prize from Ishikawa Music Academy (2012) and Most Promising Young Artist Prize (2012) and the Fourth Prize (2013) at the Hamamatsu International Piano Academy Competition. Yukine performed with Tokyo New City Orchestra at the age of seven and has performed in many concerts throughout Japan and abroad. In autumn 2013, she will perform with Lithuanian National Philharmonic Orchestra in Vilnius.
