Simone Kermes got her education in Leipzig in higher school of music and theatre at professor Helga Forner. She finished her studies with several specialties at once, gained honours standing diploma.
Simone is the laureate of various International singing contests. Her main repertory is opera baroque. In the repertory of the singer are Constance, Empress of the night, Fiordiligi, Donna Anna, Junia, Rodelinda, Lucia, Gilda, ANN TRULOVE, Alcina and Laodiceya.
Famous soloist Simone Kermes is popular all over the World: New York, Paris, Lisbon, Copenhagen, Moscow, Pekin, Germany, she also gave solo performances in USA and Japan. She performed in such scenes as the Carnegie Hall in New York, Great Hall of Moscow Conservatory, the Palace of Catalan music in Barcelona.
In addition to radio and videorecordings, Simone Kermes released a vast number of CDs. Her solo albums got a lot of International awards. Among them there is annual German prize Schallplattenkritik, theDiapasond`Or,MidemAward,ChocLeMondedelaMusique, her disc got to the number of “The best discs of the month” according to the magazine Gramophone. Simone got the prize of the highest quality by EchoKlassik in the nomination “A singer of the year” for her album Colorid`amore in 2011. In 2012 she became «A star of the year» according to Munich newspaper Abendzeitung, and in 2013 she was awarded with one of the most prestigious prizes in the area of art in Russia «Golden mask» for the role of Fiordiligi in Mozart’s opera “Cosi fan tutti” in Perm Academy Theatre of Opera and Ballet named after P.I.Tchaikovsky.
In the season 2013/2014 Simone will perform in France, Poland, Austria and Australia and also in many German cities, such as Berlin, Munich Cologne and Leipzig.
